The excellence interpreted by young chefs

Saturday 7 June at the park Villa Demidoff will take place, within the regional project "Showcase Tuscany 2014”, a tasty initiative designed to raise awareness to a wider audience a series of typical products and their use in the kitchen.
L’evento, CAT organized by the provincial Confesercenti Confcommercio and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and the Tuscany Region in partnership with Unioncamere Tuscany, aims to enhance the excellence of the local culinary traditions favoring the final meeting with the public through a series of culinary demonstrations to be followed by a tasting served to the audience.
The appointment of TUSCANY WINDOW will pay tribute to six well-known players in the local food basket: The EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (TUSCAN HILLS OF FLORENCE IGP and DOP Chianti Classico), the Mugello him SAFFRON BREAD OF THE HILLS FIORENTINE, White Bullock of the CENTRAL BELT Senese DOP and IGP.
I cooking show, with limited number of seats (35 places around) and free participation, will start at 16.30 and will be held outdoors, in the meadow that lies in front of the charming Chapel of Buontalenti: teams, who will perform with their preparations, There will be three, each consisting of two students of the Hotel School Buontalenti Florence, that will create dishes created by using one or more of the products listed above.
The young chefs who will take part in this race, evaluated by a panel of journalists, will be Lorenzo De Luca and Julia Hands IV D FOOD thread with Cinta Senese with saffron mashed potatoes with EVO, Elijah Bettarini and Richard Porciani IV B CATERING with medallions of veal with balsamic sauce and hazelnut puree and Lorenzo Thomas Cloisters Lastrucci and IV D FOOD-crusted veal with saffron on the basis of asparagus.
At the event will be explained to those present the organoleptic and nutritional characteristics of the products and the preparations made by the young chef.
