With the new line “Rana – Giro d'Italia” Pastificio Rana pays homage to four wonderful regions, three of which are crossed by the cycling event 2021, inspired by the stories, from the gastronomy and the accents that characterize them. A tribute that Rana does in its own unique style, putting his hands in the dough and focusing on the ingredients that distinguish it: creativeness, quality and innovation. The stages of this culinary journey are interpreted in a new and original key by the Pastificio and give life to unprecedented expressions of taste for a gastronomic Tour of Italy which, thanks to four generous fillings, crosses and joins the whole boot.
Ravioli stuffed with creamed cod: Rana evokes the cosmopolitan vocation of Venetian sailors with a dish full of flavor and history based on stockfish, met during their travels in the North Seas. The ancient recipe is thus transformed into a soft and delicious filling, contained in an exquisite square-shaped ravioli.• Ravioli stuffed with Ossobuco and Saffron Risotto: the taste doubles with a tribute to two exceptional Lombard specialities. Two distinct fillings, from which a harmonious encounter is born made of two different ravioli present in the same package, characterized by two sheets and two flavours. The intense note of the ossobuco thus combines with the velvety texture of the saffron risotto for an experience to be shared.

Renewing the collaboration with Banco Alimentare, with which the Veronese company has been cooperating for years, Rana chooses to be close to those who cannot afford a meal, to continue to bring a moment of serenity right where it is most needed.For each package purchased of ravioli “Rana – Giro d'Italia” in fact the Pastificio will donate a fresh Giovanni Rana product to Banco Alimentare, which thanks to 2.000 volunteers and 8.000 charitable structures are responsible for distributing foodstuffs throughout Italy. An important gesture of solidarity to bring tangible help in this period marked by the pandemic and the consequent growth of poverty that is occurring.
