Tripe like you've never tasted it arrives in Florence for the first edition of “Lampredoto”. L’evento, organized by Orto San Frediano, Bang Association! e TroppaTrippa.com, will take place Sunday 30 March at the Garden in via Pisana 78 and it's included in the Florentine Week calendar promoted by the Municipality of Florence. The one at the Orto San Frediano will be a day, from 11 to 21, in the name of discovering unusual tripe and lampredotto recipes, but also cultural and entertainment events(To participate, fill out the form: https://forms.gle/2NBKyfc9uLN25mj6A).
The morning will begin withinauguration in the presence of the city authorities, followed byopening of the food standswhere Florentine tripe makers will offer unusual and curious recipes for gourmets, abandoning the classic sandwich for a day.
At noon, Indro Neri of TroppaTrippa.com will hold a presentation on the recipes and unusual uses of tripe around the world, while the afternoon will be dedicated to acooking show with a chef, e allapresentation of DOP and IGP products curated by Quore. The day will end with acocktails accompanied by a DJ set.
By participating in “Lampredoto”, there will also be a chance to win a prize with theofficial photo contest of the event: just post your most beautiful photos on Instagram with the tag #lampredoRto2025 to be one of the five lucky winners selected by the organizers. The prize includes a notebook from the TroppaTrippa.com series of your choice and a voucher for a tasty lampredotto sandwich.
The edition 2025 of LampredOrto has obtained the patronage of the Tripe Academy.
