A Mass wine festival at Malaspina Castle

Back from 24 to the 27 April of Castello Malaspina of Massa, Spinofiorito. Now in its eighth edition, the wine festival brings to the fore the small wine production, over 100 Labels, for most of the province but with significant investments from Sicily Trentino, through Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. In addition to wine, will gluttony with the stands of street food, chef demonstrations and the opportunity to study the nature fun, with educational workshops for children.
Also Showcase Tuscany arrives at Malaspina Castle, bringing with her restaurateurs and producers, excellence in regional table. We could not miss, given the proximity of the sea, the design of the fish forgotten, which seeks the recovery of fish species considered "poor", but instead of rich elements important for health, as omega fatty acids 3 e omega 6.
The fish will be featured, the 24 April at 14,30, demonstration and tasting, in collaboration with the Association of Cooks Massa - Carrara. In addition to fish, the chefs will also show recipes with local products recounting the tradition. At the same time, in the living room of Tuscany Showcase, ci sarà l’incontro Vetrina Toscana: the importance of the product in a typical restaurant - The taste of art and the art of taste with Rosanna Hercules Mellone, journalist; Gianni Masoni, responsible tourism Confesercenti Tuscany; Cynthia Manetti, Tuscany Region Industry Museum; and the Regional Minister for Tourism and Culture.
Showcase Tuscany will be present every day, in collaboration with Smilefood Lunigiana, proposing the excellence of street food: the ancient and the modern meet giving rise to the flavors of the region, that back to childhood. Furthermore, restaurateurs of the historic center of Massa, at the foot of the castle, in the days of Spinofiorito offer menus and special promotions, with food and wine at the event.
One of the novelties of this edition of Spinofiorito the workshop is scheduled in the meeting room of the Castle 24 April: 13 wineries, with 27 Labels, two farms and a cooperative of producers meet the world distribution of catering and accommodation. La Kermesse, that will go from 10 to 20, talk to children, giving them two other new: it starts with a Treasure Hunt “botany”. Castle will be placed in the path of the native plants of the area identified with labels: children will have to identify, write down the names on a card: prize to those who report at least 15 plants. Also in smaller laboratories are dedicated playful learning "The Book of Flavors" on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April, will be used where local products.
