Coffee Pot Trastevere, Via del Politeama 12, celebrates the first year after the inauguration with a new built menu, this time, also with foods cooked at low temperature. A lot of news to try: i sushi rolls, i poke bowl, i nigiri and especially the gourmet tacos. With the new menu, the winning formula of the Japanese-Mexican fusion cuisine is enhanced by commingling and Hawaiian dishes made with the technique of low temperature cooking. The result is a modern and original gourmet mix consisting of 8 new dishes and sushi and raw food 14 New Mexican dishes.
In the kitchen Marco Fontana, student of Marco Di Vita, He was named as head of the Mexican proposals, the low-temperature baking and pastry; Ajmal Ameer remains however the manager of Sushi and Raw Food. Each dish is designed and calibrated to achieve an innovative menu: satisfying to the palate and at the same time light and health-conscious. The low temperature cooking makes it possible to cook food through the heat recirculation without diluting the juices, the moods and the nutrients. Il risultato? The kitchen Fusion-Japanese Mexican, always great protagonist at the Coffee Pot, also it mixes with Hawaiian influences of Polyensian Taco protagonists (with octopus cooked at low temperature, aromatic herbs, sour cream al lime, cipolla e jalapeno) and of’Hawaiian Poke Bowl (the tuna is cut "poke" as Hawaiian tradition – technique of nell'affettare, dissect or cut crosswise into small pieces- marinated and served with low-temperature cooked vegetables). The dining experience at the Coffee Pot is designed to go hand in hand even with the drinking well and mixed. The Bandit (with mezcal infused with coconut wood, lime, anans syrup and allspice) It is perfect to pair with Polyensian Taco while Akaibara is ideal to sip while you taste the Polyensian Taco.
The Coffee Pot, also a meeting place for the international jet set and actors, It is open every day for a drink, dinner and for mixed drinks (food from 19 to 24; bar from 19 to 2). some formulas like that of the aperitif are planned (Maki selection, Uramaki, Nigiri, Wakame, Burritos e Nachos + Wine or beer, or € 12 + Cocktail 14€) and the tasting menu on request.
