He is the Oscar®-winning actor and directorCasey Affleckthe first confirmed name for theRIFF – Riviera International Film Festival, that comes backfrom 10 to the 15 May in Sestri Levante in its original formula: an entirely in-person edition in which, in the splendid setting of the pearl of the Ligurian Riviera, the cinema will be the host with screenings, meetings and masterclasses with stars and professionals of Italian and international cinema. The interpreter of unforgettable films such asManchester by the Sea andOld Man and the Gun will be part of the Jury of the main competition, dedicated to the works of younger directors 35 coming from all over the world, which is accompanied by a competition dedicated to documentaries on environmental and eco-sustainability issues.
Affleck, who will also be the protagonist of onemasterclass with the public, he thus commented on his participation in the Festival: "I am extremely happy to be part of the jury of the Riviera International Film Festival, together with very talented personalities and in a wonderful location".
Find your Magic. Change the World is the claim of this edition.
