Tuesday 21 October D.A.F.NA Home Gallery inaugura Words, solo exhibition of Luisa Menazzi Moretti, edited by Denis Curti, with the stage action Act with words of Charles Cerciello, interpreted by the young actors of the Theatre of Naples Elicantropo.
Words is a series of photographs “of words that were missing or that could have been missed” – as told by the author – excluded from the transience of time through the medium of photography.
The corpus of the exhibition includes 20 photographs that depict different size cutouts, scraps, breaks texts escaped books, theater, Ads, sheets of newspaper, secret diaries; daily thoughts often sought and strongly desired, others found for the case, Luisa Menazzi Moretti has immortalized that their story does not vanish, nor was lost their evocative power.
Solely for the inaugural event, The gallery hosts Act with words of Charles Cerciello. The director, using the texts that Luisa Menazzi Moretti asked to write to professionals and friends as an accompaniment to the photographs, stages, for the occasion, the words of Francesca Bertoli, Francesco Bonami, Noemi Calzolari, Chiara Carminati, Paul Coulter, Denis Curti, Leandra D'Antone, Stefano De Asarta, Elio De Capitani, Gabriele Frasca, Piero Maestri, Yamina Oudaia Celso, Paolo Patu, Daniele Pitteri, Fausto Scraper, Paolo Rossi, Caterina Sagna, Tiziano Scarpa, Roberto Serra, Marisa Sestito, Luigi Maria Sicca, Susan M. Stable.
