“Silence, Beyond the Form, Within the time” a Lucca

Le Arti Orafe, jewelery school founded in Florence in 1985, continues its collaboration with FIORGEN Onlus participating in the exhibition “SILENCE, BEYOND THE FORM, IN TIME” the initiatives that the Foundation organizes FiorGen Palazzo Guinigi in Lucca, included in the calendar of celebrations for the Quincentenary of the Walls of Lucca thanks to President Alexander Biancalana.
8 May to 6 June, marble sculptures, plexiglass, iron, Steel and Gold Annamaria Zanella and Renzo Pasquale, members of the Paduan school goldsmith known all over the world, together with photographs of the German INEA Gukema-Augstein, from which the works of Zanella and Pasquale are inspired and that immortalize the imposing grandeur and mysticism of the stones turned into architectural constructions in antiquity, enliven the medieval halls of Palazzo Guinigi. The sample, edited by Mirella Cisotto – Head of Department of Culture of the Municipality of Padua, expert of contemporary jewelery, that for years he devoted himself to the study of this art form – has already been exposed to the oratory of S. Rocco in Padua during the months of October and November 2013 and subsequently in Monaco of Bavaria.

To enrich the event of Lucca, a great selection of jewelry of the two artists Zanella and Pasquale, that, with an innovative and expressive formal research, realize transgressive trials of poor materials and improbable or retrieve cleaning harmonic of pure geometry to create works of jewelry made precious by its uniqueness and creative gesture and manual expressing.

The jewelry will be accompanied by the work of 5 young artist-goldsmith, selected from among the participants 2008 to the 2012 contest for young designers PRECIOUSYOUNG, part of the exhibition project PRECIOUS, flagship event of the wide promotion of contemporary jewelery research carried out in almost thirty years LAO - The Artistic Jewellery Jewellery School, that involves major players in the international jewelery. www.preziosa.org I 5 artists chosen for the realization of this retrospective PRECIOUS YOUNG are: Daniel Di Caprio, Arata Fuchi, Adam Grinovich, Dana Hakim, Hanna Hedman.
