Rwanda 20 years after, Portraits of change

A 20 years after the genocide in Rwanda, photographs of a people that is still trying to rebuild their lives and national identity. The images of the photographer Arno Lafontaine, are the result of long past time to know and converse with the rural population. After Giordano Cossu, curator of the entire project, had interviewed the players resumed and (The documentary is now in the race for the Italian Grand Prix 2014) Lafontaine snapped two pictures with an old-fashioned optical device with a goal of Aero Ektar 1937: the first image was interviewed, the second became a part of this incredible portfolio of journalists who brings the coffee in Turin, at Palazzo Saluzzo Paesana enriched by documentary produced by Hirya Lab in co-production with RFI (Radio France Internationale), France 24 and La Stampa.
