La Rinascente “Pop-up Christmas Fantasy”

Incredible pop-up books are opened in the windows to create the unique atmosphere of the most awaited festival of the year. Each year the Rinascente presents the city its Christmas windows, a tradition that celebrates the magic of the party interpreting it in an artistic and contemporary.
Taking up a visual code that is part of the identity of the Rinascente the design of the windows for Christmas 2014 was entrusted to 6 young Italian illustrators. With a sense of play and childish wonder, have created a series of pop-up books from the charming retro yet topical and magic, now opening chests as revealing vignettes Christmas seductive freshness and lively. A modern spell which pays homage to the past with a stretch that combines fun and poetry, delicacy.
Each pop-up book is contained in a showcase, has a title and an author.
