“Ri-Scatti” photo contest dedicated to the homeless

Ri-scatti” The photo contest is dedicated to the homeless and designed by the City of Milan’Association of Third Week, in collaboration with SGP Stephen Guindani Photo and Echo Photo Agency.
The initiative offered in thirteen adults in need the opportunity to participate in a training course to learn the basic photographic techniques.
The initiative was presented at Palazzo Marino with the presence of the Directorate of Social Policy, Pierfrancesco Majorino, Advice alla Cultura, Filippo Del Corno, Gianmarco Maraviglia Echo Photo Agency and SGP and Federica Balestrieri, referent in Milan for the Association of Third Week.
The participants were selected from the Central Station of the City Center Help (Casc the street Ferrante Aporti 3, corner of Viale Brianza, reference point for services for the homeless) are thirteen people who have no fixed abode.

All were asked to tell their life through photography: where they spend the day, what they do, where to sleep, how to procure clothes, where are those who wash their “traveling companions”. But even their dreams, their expectations, their desire for redemption.
The jury will select the best path photo, viewing twenty-five photographs for each of them. We will evaluate the commitment and participation in the course. The winner of the contest will work in Milan, renewable for six months up to one year, as an assistant photographer at the agency SGP Stephen Guindani Photo with a bag work. The best photographs will be the subject of the exhibition at the PAC from the RI-CLICK 19 January 2015 sponsored by Tod's.
Two women and eleven men between the ages of 25 e i 70 age. They live between the road and the dorms, predominantly Milano. Different nationalities: sei italiani, due marocchini, one senegalese, un tunisino, an Argentine, un brasiliano, a egiziano. Two are graduates, one was a cook, another the porter, one ran a furniture store then there are those who worked as a waiter, who as a domestic worker. From time living condition of being homeless and jobless.
The jury is composed Federica Balestrieri, Fabio Castelli, Silvia Fiore, Stephen Guindani, Sandro Iovine, Sara Maino, Gianmarco Maraviglia, Marco Pinna, Matthew Procaccioli, Diego Sileo, Alessandro Zanardi.
