The "journey" of the second edition of the continues Mascagni Festival, departed on 25 July and will end on 16 September in Livorno with the concert of the State Police Band. Many events characterized the important event, between opera/symphony concerts,
prose, opera and performances of modern and contemporary music.
Music with its understandable language at all latitudes must overcome national borders and for this reason the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with theItaliaFestival Association (the multidisciplinary association formed by some of the most prestigious Italian festivals), launches the "world tour" of music and theater shows in free on-demand streaming for the international public.
For the second year, in fact the initiative “Estate all'Italiana Festival“, match the 4 July until 23 September will make available, gratuitamente, streaming live and on demand on Italiana's Vimeo channel, a rich schedule dedicated to culture and live shows.
Domani 10 September 2021 the space will be dedicated to the Mascagni Festival with the acclaimed concert jazz pianist Danilo Rea: a great opportunity as well as the promise of telling some Mascagna musical fragments that he revisited. “SWe are honored to participate in the prestigious event <<Italian summer>>, promoted by Italia Festival and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation” comments the director
artistic of the Mascagni Festival Marco Voleri. “It is certainly a great opportunity to enhance the work that has been carried out by the most prestigious festivals in our country, using the streaming tool as a vehicle they will be able to reach every corner of the world with the notes of maestro Rea, who skilfully revisited some Mascagna compositions. The Mascagni Festival has existed for two editions, we are at the beginning of a journey aimed at valorising the figure of this great man
composer and orchestra conductor. The response of the public and the interest of international partners makes us understand the importance of the rediscovery of an artist who set trends throughout his life”.
