Saturday 29 novembre yl Flyer Caraglio opens the exhibition curated by title The box is full of fictions asleep / I sentieri Battuti sono di pieni visioni addormentate a path to residency and training involving 8 young Italian artists led by 2 tutor the Italian artist Luca headwork (Genoa, 1964) e il francese Saâdane Afif, known and active in the international arena.
What is a border? As it is? How to build, and tell, History and stories of border areas? These and other questions have accompanied the path of research and exploration of the 8 Young Artists, resident in Italy and France, called to perform the cross-border area: Franco Ariaudo, Giorgio Cugno, Irene Dionisio, Luca Giacosa, Daniella Morales Isamit, Stephen Loye, Matthew Montchamp, Cosimo Veneziano.
The location of residence and training has seen the conduct of meetings and visits to the Cuneo valleys and in different places of the Hautes-Alpes and Haute-Provence – from near Gap and Digne to the Gorges du Verdon – in relation to cultural institutions, museums, eco-museums and other local. Weaving traditions, political considerations and analysis of the area, Screw covers issues related to individual and collective memory, the relationship between place, community and cultural production, Afif while investigating the concepts of translation, authorship, interdisciplinary, collaboration and production.
