In Lamezia Terme returns, now in its eighteenth edition, CINEMA and CINEMA the arthouse film review organized by Arci Lamezia Terme/Vibo Valentia with the artistic direction of Ivan Falvo D'Urso and included in the project Lamezia Summertime 2019. The project, valid for three years, it is an articulated and rich program of historical events, created by the Municipality of Lamezia Terme in collaboration with Arci Lamezia Terme/Vibo Valentia and financed by the Calabria Region with PAC funds 2017-2020. This year's edition, dedicata a Gianni Pirico e ad Antonio Milan two friends from Lamezia who are passionate about cinema and who died prematurely, offre 14 movies with films that include, in addition to the great titles of national and international success, even animated films designed for the little ones. Screenings will take place, from 7 August to the 7 September, in the historic courtyard “F. Bevilacqua” dell’Edificio Maggiore Perri nel centro della città, set up with a big screen of 12 metri e con oltre 300 posti.
The viewing of the films in the program will be preceded by the screening of the FICE short films (Federazione Italiana Cinema d’Essai) by UCCA (Union of Arci Cinematographic Circles):
