“Ecce Cuba”

The Embassy of Cuba in Italy in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes in Rome have “ECCE CUBA” a story of who we are but most of what we want to be.
ECCE CUBA accompany the Roman public through an unusual journey into the Cuban culture, which incorporates in its fruitful diversity of the arts, laugh more easily, ways of life and traditions.
This trip will begin with the opening of the exhibition "The Art incision in Cuba 1962-2014" which brings together a careful selection of 70 works 28 Cuban artists who worked on the art of engraving in Cuba.
Among the artists on display there will be Alejandro Sainz, Alexis Leyva (Kcho), Angel Ramírez, Angel Rivero (Andy), Arturo Montoto, Juan Vicente R. Bonachea, Carlos del Toro, Diana Balboa, Eduardo Abela, Eduardo Roca (Choco), Gilberto Frómeta, José Omar Torres, Julio César Peña, Leonel López Nussa, Max Delgado Corteguera, Rafael Cano Paneca, Zaida del Río.
The exhibition will be inaugurated in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in SE Italy. Milagros Carina Soto Aguero and the director of the Instituto Cervantes in Rome Sergi López Rodríguez-Ros. Also, will be attending the professor of the National School of Art in Cuba PAMECA Rafael Cano and Cuban artist Max Delgado Corteguera.
