D.A.F.NA inaugura “Beyond the black”

Wednesday 11 June at 18.30 a Napoli D.A.F.NA Home Gallery (76, Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi) opens “Beyond the black“, the last work of Danilo Ambrosino edited by Valerio Dehò.
A story in 10 works on the theme of liberation “from the sense of helplessness that all are experiencing at multiple levels and that I have seen for years as a sort of sticky impossibility of expression” Ambrosino explains.
The technique is one that Danilo Ambrosino has developed over the years through pictorial on aluminum panels (125×125 The 100×133) through which 'digs’ to bring to light human figures trapped in the oily glaze that smothers.
“Ambrosino door painting on a flat surface on one side that is narrative, the other focuses in the form fluens its own characteristics” explains curator Dehò.
At nera the sea, oil from which emerge new men and women, symbolizes the artist for the black gold of activism that contemporary man has sacrificed his freedom. A way forward has become an emblem of power that generates abuse.
Inaugurated in 2010 on the first floor of the eighteenth century Palazzo dei Principi Albertini gallery D.A.F.NA has hosted exhibitions by Ana Gloria Sage, Donatella Spaziani, Ciro Vitale promoting cultural exchanges with other house-gallery in Italy and France.

Danilo Ambrosino Nasca nel 1964 a Napoli, where he lives and works. In 2010 with the architect Anna Fresa opens DAF.NA (by the acronym) home gallery and cultural association to promote the meeting between artists and the art world at the international level through a network of relationships with galleries and foundations.
