Sogno di Ernest Schneider, padre di Théodore Schneider attuale Presidente di Breitling, era di unire la sua passione per la tecnica e l’aviazione agli orologi. La tenacia e la grande professionalità di Ernest Schneider furono ripagate quando, in 1983, la squadra decise che il cronografo Breitling sarebbe stato l’orologio ufficiale delle Frecce Tricolori.
