The exhibition "Nel vivo dell’Argento” è un racconto storico delle opere più significative della produzione De Vecchi, il frutto della conoscenza e della padronanza del linguaggio degli oggetti.
“Nel vivo dell’Argento” è un viaggio in sette Isole che fanno rivivere la purezza delle forme, il rigore della ricerca e la leggerezza dei riflessi degli oggetti De Vecchi: un gioco di specchi d‘argento tra la realtà e il virtuale.
La prima isola è dedicata a “L’ART DE LA TABLE”: in mostra l’ultima collezione De Vecchi, con la linea Tancredi & Bartolomeo disegnata da Enzo Iacchetti. Unracconto che parte da lontano, fedele a quell’anima futurista, d’avanguardia e di rottura con la tradizione che caratterizza De Vecchi.

Nella seconda isola, “I COLORI DEL GIOCO”, tra i colorati candelabri MulT8 di Matteo De Vecchi, risalta il Cucù Tucano, un elemento di decoro da parete, una scultura in argento dall’atmosfera retrò e dalle linee contemporanee.
La terza isola “GIOCHI LINGUISTICI” mette in mostra la ricca produzione di caffettiere firmate da Gabriele De Vecchi. Il linguaggio degli specchi De Vecchi in quest’isola prende forma: la base delle caffettiere della linea Storia riflette e si integra con la realtà, per riprendere poi, nella parte superiore, le linee storiche dell’argenteria classica.
La quarta isola “GESTI RIVELATORI” è dedicata all’importanza dei gesti abituali e quotidiani da cui nasce la linea di Gabriele De Vecchi delle tre caraffe Slow Drink: Trebok, dove l’acqua, prima di raggiungere il bicchiere, simula il corso di un ruscello; Moulin, che ricorda un mulino: l’acqua gioca e canta con una rotellina; Sound, con un manico in argento dove scorrono sfere che diffondono note dal gusto orientale.
La quinta isola “RIFLESSI DAI CANDELABRI”, dallo storico T8, of 1947 di Piero De Vecchi, che cambia la struttura classica dell’oggetto in un unico elemento, al candelabro Petalo, of 1990, di Gabriele De Vecchi, an
struttura che può essere composta da più moduli, ognuno con una fiamma: come i petali che compongono un fiore.
La sesta isola “DE VECCHI: IL DISEGNO DEGLI ALTRI” è un’esposizione corale della produzione De Vecchi dei primi anni 2000 realizzata da designer nazionali e internazionali: dal servizio per caffè progettato da Gio Ponti e realizzato nel 1956 da Piero De Vecchi, passando attraverso gli oggetti di Enzo Mari, fino ad arrivare e Tom Dixon.
La settima e ultima isola “LO SCAFFALE DELLE MERAVIGLIE DE VECCHI”, in mostra un melting pot delle opere De Vecchi, dagli anni ’90 ad oggi: un omaggio al design italiano che ha, come porta bandiera, le idee rivoluzionarie e la visione De Vecchi.
