“Dancing” the Museum of Orsanmichele

After the success of light dinner & tango the Stibbert Museum and picnic & guitars the Archaeological Museum, with dancing the Museum of Orsanmichele VisitArt continues a series of social events animated by performances, music and other entertainment, aimed at raising awareness and raising funds destined to the cultural heritage of Florence.

The evening's program dancing the Museum of Orsanmichele includes a dinner and a dance show and music. Gran part of the proceeds will contribute to the restoration of one of three painted panels present in Orsanmichele: San Giuliano Francesco Botticinis (late fifteenth century) for the Art of Hoteliers; Santo Stefano Francesco Morandini said Poppi (1570) for the Art of Wool; and San Martino Giovanni Antonio Sogliani, (1515-1520 such as.) for the Art of Vinattieri.

The event is organized by Geneva Brands (director of the magazine Visit you) and J.M. Events, and is sponsored by Cristina Acidini (Superintendent for the Florentine Museums) with Antonio Godoli (director of the Museum of Orsanmichele), who have welcomed this initiative, infrequent in the Italian, with great openness and availability.
The serata, invitation strictly personal, has a cost of 30 euro to person; the ticket has been kept deliberately low, thanks to the generosity of the organizers and sponsors, to encourage the participation of even the most reluctant to frequent the places of art.

The party includes a dinner, offer from In Factory oestrus silversmith Pampaloni, a show of dance by Florence Dance Centerwithmusic by Paolo Borghi, and a visit to Orsanmichele. All guests will also be offered a newspaper, in Italian and English, illustrating the artistic and architectural Orsanmichele.
