When Milan became the theater of Fashion Week, the whole city lights up with a thousand events. Fashion gives an edge to the capital of Lombardy and makes the most effervescent air.
One of the first brands to kick off the Men's Fashion Week for Spring / estate 2013 It was Aspesi who has organized an evening homonymous showroom in Via Montenapoleone.
The showroom is in our opinion one of those places that is worth a visit when you are in Milan because it's an interesting space, curious, lively and full of stimuli. Find space here both the men's collection that the woman, as well as accessories: There are also shelves with books (snooping we have spotted one of Gordon Ramsey, the most celebrated chef of the moment) and you can be captivated by some collections, such as that of metal cans (old boxes of cigars or candies) adorning a wall or like that of old toys that fill a great showcase.
The brand is named after Alberto Aspesi, born fashion designer in the province of Varese, who opened his first business in the 1969. The hallmark of Aspesi is the refined and clean style, simple and straightforward, and one of the brand's flagship products are the duvets, hot and ultra-thin, often unisex. They are famous the sleeveless models and field jacket, probably due to their dual identity that makes them perfect clothes for both formal occasions and for more casual moments of the day.
The evening included music and a buffet organized in the courtyard inside the showroom. A very pleasant discovery, we must admit: it is a small space, almost a secret heart, closed between balconies and plants, unexpected oasis of peace in the heart of the Fashion District. And above all a fresh air lung in a very hot evening in Milan! We broke groped by Menabrea beer served ice well and the many delicious food proposals.
Judging by the satisfied and relaxed faces that we noticed and the remarkable turnout, we can determine the success of the evening.
