Raf Simons at Pitti Uomo 90

Pitti Immagine Uomo 90, staged in Florence from 14 to the 17 June 2016, presents FLORENCE CALLING: RAF SIMONS, an event that celebrates the return of Raf Simons a Firenze, one of the great innovators of contemporary fashion.
“Florence has a special place in my heart – dice Raf Simons – nand over the years I have regularly returned to present my work, or to collaborate on projects that would reflect my personal view. I'm excited to be back in Florence this season, to present my spring / summer collection 2017 and a special project that will fulfill precisely Pitti”.
"We are happy and proud of the return of Raf Simons in Florence”, says Lapo Cianchi, communications director and Pitti Immagine events. “Simons was involved in some of the most beautiful events held on the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo: The exhibition "The Fourth Sex. The extreme Adolescent” (2003), he oversaw with Francesco Bonami; il fashion show, the video installation and the book produced and presented to celebrate the first ten years of his mark (2005), until the parade of Jil Sander (2010), of which at the time it was creative director. We like to think that Raf Simons are in Florence on the context and the ideal occasion to review progress on his professional and personal project, to find energy and inspiration in view of future commitments”.
