Fourth edition of Premio Gaetano Marzotto

The Premio Gaetano Marzotto promoted and developed by Association of Project Marzotto www.progettomarzotto.org, founded with the goal of identifying and promoting the development of new business ideas, able to meet the criteria of economic and financial sustainability and at the same time generate tangible benefits for the Italian territory.
Three categories of competition that this year they're going to reward the winners of the 2014:
Premier Impress
300.000 € in cash and a path alongside the CUOA value 25.000 euro. At best innovative company with the ability to generate significant positive impact in the areas of social, territorial, culturali or ambientali.
They are called to participate in the new entrepreneurs who have already established a company, Consolidate a team, an interesting target market and a partner (incubator, accelerator) that the value of accreditation.
A selection committee – chaired by Emil Abirascid and composed of personalities from the world of entrepreneurship, Search, institutions, universities, finance, venture capitalists and industry press – identify the finalists, which will be announced during the semifinals on Thursday 30 October 2014.
The winner will be announced at the end of Thursday 27 November 2014, by a jury made up of entrepreneurs Alberto Baban, Riccardo Illy, Federico Marchetti, Gaetano Marzotto, Ettore Riello, Diana supqaterrestri, Francesco Zonin.
AWARD FROM THE IDEA TO THE FIRM
50.000 € in cash and periods of residence and guiding the overall value of 735.000 euro.
Reserved for young people up to 35 age of maximum, Prize consists of a cash prize and periods of residence within business incubators and accelerators – quali Boox, Cesena Lab, Consortium Ark, Digital Magics, FabriQ, Filarete Foundation, H-Farm, I3P, Impact Hub, Industrio Ventures, Innovation Factory, JCube, LUISS Enlabs, M31, Nana Bianca, Polihub, Project Manufacturing, Seedlab, Talent Garden, The Net Value, Trento Rise and Vega – with targeted programs, to turn ideas into business.
Individuals are invited to participate, project team and innovative startups.
The incubators partner of the Award will evaluate all proposals and nominate the winner of the route to be made available to them. The twenty winners of the paths will compete for the prize of 50.000 euro, that will be assigned during the semifinals of the 30 October, by a jury of Annalisa Balloi, AD Micro4you and winner of the Award in the Enterprise of the Future 2011; Rossella Corrao, Ceo SBSKIN; Luca De Biase, The Sun journalist 24 Hours; Stefano Gallucci, AD Centervue S.p.A.; Salvatore Majorana, Director of Technology Transfer of the Italian Institute of Technology; Cosimo Palmisano, fondatore Ecce Customer; Maximum Sideri, Corriere della Sera journalist.
CUOA join the winning team with an initial business needs analysis and a subsequent training program adapted to the specific needs, for a total value, not paid in cash, of 10.000 euro.
SPECIAL PRIZE Unicredit START LAB
150.000 EUR in paths alongside dedicated.
Looking at least one startup for each of the two categories of competition, Achievement Award from the idea to the enterprise and the enterprise, Award provides for the inclusion in a program of UniCredit which includes the assignment of a mentor – chosen among professionals, consultants, entrepreneurs, partner of UniCredit innovation – periodic with respect to the strategic aspects of startup and growth; participation in the Startup Academy; a coaching program from the team of UniCredit Start Lab; the assignment of a Relationship Manager to follow UniCredit banking needs; and for startups who have the prerequisites, organization of Business Meetings with corporate clients of UniCredit and with potential investors.
Fields of interest: ICT/Digital/Web, Life Science, Clean Tech, Nanotech, Fashion & Design, Robotics, Agrifood e Turismo.
In 2013 The Competition was won by the Prize enterprise of the future (250.000 euro) da Wearable light exoskeleton, wearable robotic exoskeletons that by intervening in support of the movement of materials and gait of persons with disabilities and older; for the Award for a new social enterprise and cultural (100.000 euro) that EPINOVA BIOTECH, bioactive hydrogel capable of developing epithelial substituted for domestic use in the treatment of ulcers and burns; Prize for the idea to the company (paths of incubation and acceleration for a total value of 300.000 euro) da INTOINO, IVTECH, NEURON GUARD, CONDOMANI, BIKE INTERMODAL, CELL VIEWER, TRIPPETE, BIO FOOD CORNER, BIOGEM.FRA; Special prize for the UniCredit - talent for ideas (150.000 EUR in programs dedicated) da APX, GPSEASYBOAT, PLUMESTARS, MATERIKO, ORANGE FIBER, B10MOUSE e BIKE INTERMODAL.
The competition is open to individuals, project team, business startups and established business, they have a new business idea, able to generate an economic impact and a positive social impact mainly on the Italian territory, with headquarters and development base in Italy, but capacity for international growth.
The ideas must be original, innovative and feasible, financially sustainable and able to generate financial returns.
Participation is free. In order to participate, you must fill out the online form from the Participate section of the website www.premiogaetanomarzotto.it, in accordance with the terms provided.
By Wednesday 18 June, will close the stage of submission of projects.
Thursday 30 October there will be the semi-final.
Thursday 27 November, will hold the final.
