The XIV edition of Exhibition of Claudio Ladurini's nativity scenes This year it is enriched with a precious innovation: a collection of more 70 mini representations of the Nativity belonging to Father Graziano, Parish priest of Basilica of Santa Maria Novella. These are small works - some real miniatures - made with materials from all over the world and characterized by extremely different styles. Their display in the living room invites guests and visitors to a contemplative pause, giving a moment of magic and tradition and offering food for thought on the way of experiencing Florence, his story, its culture, its churches - among which the extraordinary beauty of Santa Maria Novella stands out - and its traditions, also linked to important figures of the Florentine context.
The presentation of this Private Collection of Santa Maria Novella highlights the value of our culture, of tradition and art, that the Caridi family "lives" and transmits to visitors and Florentines in their neighborhood through its commitment to Rivoli Boutique Hotel over 60 age. A winning combination with the works of Claudio Ladurini, who dedicated his life to the creation of his nativity scenes in the small workshop in Fiumalbo: real scenography, animated by mechanisms and settings also inspired by current affairs.
Come ogni anno, the Rivoli Boutique Hotel joins the initiative "Put a nativity scene in the window", promoted by the Vicariate of San Giovanni and aimed at the activities and shops of the city centre: a further way to demonstrate the pride of belonging to the Florentine fabric.
Furthermore, the commitment to the theme of faith and solidarity continues with support for the "Tommasino Bacciotti Foundation”, which offers free accommodation to families coming from outside the region with children being treated at the Meyer Pediatric Hospital in Florence. The offers collected by 6 dicembre al 6 January will be doubled by the Rivoli Boutique Hotel, thus contributing to the important welfare activities of the Foundation.
