Luisa Beccaria chooses to present hers FW 22/23 with a video project shot indoors focusing on the emotional and evocative power of an auteur short film. The designer flanked by her daughter Lucilla, starting from a canvas of liquid colors that is almost a magic mirror through the dream, leads us on a journey towards lightness by entering the atelier of an artist reflecting, through the chromatism of art, on the weight that i muted and twilight colors have in its collection.
The models and the dancers move lightly through frames that highlight, with dance and movements, delicacy, transparency and that fragile fashion with flowery and impalpable prints that have always been the hallmark of the brand. Autumn outfits, which appear to be natural continuation of those of the end of summer, give way to the winter ones, perfect for the holiday season and evenings in the mountains. Fragile clothes, shirts and blouses with light bottoms, are gradually warmed by turtlenecks and leggings micro-patterns coordinated and paired with frock coats with minute silhouettes, couture outerwear and eco-fur jackets.
The collection, hyper feminine and sophisticated, play with the weights of the fabrics, with the different ones textures and archival tapestry prints. Chiffon, lace, stretch satin, iridescent devorè velvet and soft stretch jersey yes contrast with full-bodied satins, printed wool, suede and rich brocades.
The patterns of the prints are an obvious tribute to some must haves worn over the years by exceptional testimonials such as: Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Madonna e Sarah Jessica Parker. The scarlet corollas and celestial, made famous by the short coat in floral padded velvet yes stand out against ivory and blue backgrounds, while light trompe l'oeil ramages are mixed with all over micro prints on the tones of the green. These fantasies are declined in the IT-dress: Luisa (blouse jerk belt), Whitney (characterized by long rows of buttons) and Marilyn (finely pleated), on overalls, in blouses and new suits that they combine double-breasted pea coats with pleated miniskirts.
Suede and jersey they are also used for flowing midi skirts combined with knitwear two-tone cashmere with a more sporty appeal that alternates with another one in wool with intertwined workmanship.
There is no shortage of cocktails and dreamy dresses built with vaporous layers of chiffon ivory and burgundy with applications of roses and 3D embroidery to match padded headbands, real ones beauty crown.
The palette chromatic, iridescent extremely bright and rich in nuances, has a lagoon inspiration. All the colors of the sky and the rich circles of roses fade into the water, lit by touches of acid green, viola and burgundy. Still once the sustainable luxury of Luisa Beccaria becomes the voice of a search for harmony and a message of positivity and light.
