"Cibus - When food becomes art"

“Cibus - When food becomes art”, the new exhibition of photographs by the collective "Women faceless”, women's section of the photography club "The Castle" in Taranto.
The exposure, now in its eighth edition, will be open free to the Center of Photography Via Plinio 85, headquarters of the association, from 7 to the 22 March. The opening hours will be Monday through Friday from 17.00 to 19.00, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 12.30 and by 17.00 to 20.30. Opening night, Saturday 7 March at 19.30, there will be a critical intervention by Federica Cerami, curator of exhibitions, photography teacher and creator of contests and events, former host of the latest edition of FOTOARTE Puglia.
The images taken by photographers of the collective, this year 22, are freely inspired by the themes of Expo 2015, the largest international trade fair which will be devoted, as evidenced by the subtitle "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life ", to everything that revolves around food and food. The event is organized and sponsored by the City of Taranto, the Province of Taranto and the Councillor for Equality Barbara Gambillara, and with that of FIAF - Italian Federation of Photographic Associations -, reference S11 / 2015.
