Licia Mattioli: Arcimboldo Winter and Arcimboldini

The investigation of nature, love for decorativism Renaissance and the visionary imagination of one of the most important artists of the sixteenth century Italian, “Arcimboldo”, inspired Licia Mattioli in the creation of a line of unique jewelry, able to defy the rules and time. A great tribute also to 'EXPO 2015, that has the symbol of the fair linked to food, just a small stylized Arcimboldo.

The bet to realize miniatures represented the lucky spot from where they originated the first two rings of the collection, tributes to the seasons of Autumn and Summer. The complex structure consists of rubies, zaffiri, quartz, tormaline, fired e amethysts, has allowed the meticulous reproduction of the iconic faces of fruit, survivors in history thanks to the charm grotesque suggested by the inimitable craft renaissance.
L'Arcimboldo Winter is the third component of the precious quartet dedicated to the seasons. A triumph of nuance cold, obtained from the synergy of an unprecedented selection of stones including topaz blue sky, swiss e london, milky quartz, amethyst purple, iolite e moonstone. Soon the limited series of unique pieces will close with Arcimboldo Spring, with a precious box to contain the valuable works of art format jewel.
