Kampos opens in Porto Rotondo and Panarea

Kampos, sustainable luxury brand launched in the summer 2020 of Alessandro Vergano, will open in the coming weeks two new stores in prestigious Italian tourist locations: Porto Rotondo and Panarea. The second Sardinian store of the brand, after the one inaugurated last year in Porto Cervo, will be inaugurated on 26 April. The space of 70 square meters in Piazzetta San Marco will host the PE collection 2021 of swimwear, clothing and accessories for women and men by Kampos, and was designed to recreate the artistic and sustainable vision of the brand, perceptible in every detail. To achieve this, Kampos made use of the collaboration of Claudia Filigheddu, local artist, who painted on the front of the shop a mural inspired by the sea corals and the fantasy of one of the brand's models. The attention to detail and the balanced color combination give character and catch the eye even before entering the store. The interior design is characterized by a refined and minimalist style, dominated by neutral colors combined with sustainable handcrafted materials.

On the walls stand out works of art made by hand by the Italian artist Silvia Pasqualato, made with recycled wood from the sea and inspired by marine life. Every detail is taken care of according to the highest sustainability standards: from the choice of the materials used to that of the decorative elements, every detail reflects the brand's zero plastic policy. The colors of the Kampos collection for SS 21 and original marine prints complete the design. Also in the Panarea store, in which the predominant color is white, in harmony with the rest of the island, Claudia Filigheddu has created a mural representing the bougainvillea, protagonist of one of the prints launched by Kampos exclusively for the Sicilian island.

The opening of the store of approx 65 square meters is planned for 15 May. “Our strategy is to open slightly larger stores than the costume shops that are normally found in tourist resorts, because we want to give space and breath to our collection and allow the customer to fully appreciate it. Consistent with our values linked to sustainability, we prefer fewer products in larger spaces”, says Alessandro Vergano, founder of Kampos. “We are evaluating other locations in Europe, in particular in the Mediterranean area; our goal is to open by start 2022 other stores in Greece and Spain, as well as another in Italy”.
