Tuesday 7 October 2014, opens new showroom in Rome on non-profit association AlbumArte, a program of artist residencies held from 2011 a Istanbul, Paris, Prague, Rome and, coming soon, Venice.
In your Flaminia, an old barn Villa Poniatowsky, space used first as a warehouse of cars for public transport and so far used by AlbumArte as a workshop for artists in residence, becomes exhibition center for exhibitions, performance, workshop, video screening and artistic actions pitches. Cultural projects that will animate the space of AlbumArte and also those promoted by the association in other locations, will involve artists able to extend their artistic research beyond the scope of the visual arts.
Inaugurating the space of AlbumArte, Tuesday 7 October at 18:30, the artist's first solo show in Italy Christine Rebet by title Meltingsun edited by Maria Rosa Sossai and Francesco Urbano Boys.
The exhibition will be the culmination of a residency program produced by the Roman during which the French artist will work closely with the curatorial duo Francesco Urbano Boys.
