Enogastronomica Florence Biennale 2016

The Enogastronomica Florence Biennale will be staged with a full program, from 10 up to 28 November 2016, at the former center for contemporary art Florence EX3 (Viale Giannotti 81/83/85), a suggestive recovered urban space and destined to the exhibition center where the City of Florence in the near 2017 It will set up the "Museum of Memory". Art, letteratura, conferences, thematic events will be the outfit for the event which promises to be a sort of general enogastronomy been and how it moves around this area.
Now in its fifth edition, the Biennale Enogastronomica 2016 becomes attentive and curious observation towards everything that is contemporary nell'enogastronomia, Research and Future: in this sense the tastings, the cooking show that will engage chefs from all over Italy, and give the public a real journey of discovery of knowledge and tastes to know, defend and protect.
This new edition scheduled with about 500 exhibitors who will present the world of food ranging in the most different sectors, a calendar 25 thematic events and as many appointments in the rich program "Fuori Biennale".

We want to create a new course of this event – dice Santino Cannamela President of Enogastronomica Biennale -. Over the past decade the world of food has changed dramatically enriching thanks to the technical knowledge creativity and experimentation that have become the common heritage of chefs and industry professionals. The Biennale aims to transfer all this heritage to the general public through the rediscovery of local raw materials often poor and low-cost to make the high Italian culinary school accessible to all”.
Thanks to the involvement of all stakeholders in the sector – afferma Leonardo Romanelli Food and wine critic and artistic director of the Biennale -, we can offer a rich and varied calendar of events capable of transmitting the culture dell''enogastronomia. Appointments are blended with other disciplines: from music to visual arts to literature to ensure that the food is not only nourish the body but also the soul”.
The Biennale of Enogastronomy is a project carried out by the Urban Development Foundation with support from the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and the support of the Metropolitan City of Florence.
