2025 – Future Environment Human

The cultural association Seven O’Clock presents, from Thursday 12 of Domenica 15 February 2015, in the spaces of the Ex-Mill Latina Rome, 2025 – Future Environment Human, an exhibition of visual arts and live performance. Starring over twenty national and international artists, that, through different media, are called to reflect on the future and the possibility of a new sustainable relationship between man, Nature and Technology.
2025 – Future Environment Human is conceived by Seven O'Clock, in coproduzione con Dead Poets Society, enjoys the patronage of the Culture, Creativeness, Artistic Promotion and Tourism, Department of Culture Roma Capitale, and is in collaboration with Film Dugong and the architectural firm stARTT.
The review, under the artistic direction of Sofia Francesca Miccichè and Giorgia Noto, expected: an exhibition with twelve works related to the themes of technological innovation, applied to the environment and sustainability; three live audiovisual performances and a dance show interactive; a theatrical performance; a collective game; two talk about architecture and landscape coordinated by the design studio stARTT; a selection of video works by independent filmmakers via mobile devices, by Dugong Film.
How will the world in 2025? According to some of the most influential scientists, is an ongoing environmental unstoppable decline caused by industrial pollution. The artists invited to participate in 2025 - Future Human Environment are working to produce a new imagery, able to tell one evolutionary scenario in which technological innovation on the one hand, and some other production practices, are reconfigured as two pillars of a renewed planet in the sign of sustainability and a new organic relationship between man and nature. Starting, then, from a critical analysis of the existing, 2025 stands as an act of artistic imagination collective, stimulate cultural and proactive to the future.
THE EXHIBITION
The artists who are confronted with the spaces of the Ex-paper mill are Latin: Marco Bernacchia (Italy, 1979), Daniela Di Maro (Italy, 1977), Stéphane Kozik (France, 1980), Giuseppe Licari (Italy, 1980), Virginia Lopez (Spain, 1975), Game (France, 1985), Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba (Italy, 1976), Many Ryts (Italy, 1982), Morgantin (Italy, 1971), Roberto Pugliese (Italy, 1982), Scenocosme - duo formato da Gregory Lasserre (France, 1976) Anais met den e Ancxt (France, 1981) - Land and Talking traveling project of Stephen Capodieci (Italy, 1988) Caterina Giuliani (Italy, 1985) and Giovanna Zanghellini (Italy, 1986).
LIVE PERFORMANCE
Thursday 12, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 February 2015 are scheduled live performance of Franz Rosati, Giuseppe "Mutech" Guariniello with Rocco Cavalera, CKB = Calembour + K-its + Breaking Wood,and a dance show interactive Martìn Romeo, artist and director of the Venice Film Festival Toolkit.
DJ SET
From Thursday 12 on Saturday 14 February 2015, after the live performance, scheduled DJ sets they see between the protagonists: Palm Wine, Phantom Love, Georgia Lee e Kick Milady.
DUE TALK: LAND USED, BY stARTT
The study of Roman design stARTT care project Terra Used with a first meeting Friday 13 February, pm 15.00, and a second event Saturday 14 February, pm 15.00. The two appointments, held by Dario Scaravelli, close, through the presentation of projects at different scales, to trace an open analysis of the possible scenarios resulting from human activities on the environment. A look at the changes to be implemented on the territory, natural and urban, through interventions based on principles of reuse and new practices, that could lead to a reinterpretation of the relationship between man and environment.
REVIEW AND WORKSHOPS: CINEMA MOBILE, BY FILM Dugong
Saturday 14 February, Dugong Film by a selection of videos made with smartphones and mobile devices, who participated in the most important national and international festivals, and a workshop on the new frontiers of "smartphonemovie".
ENTERTAINMENT MUSIC AND DANCE: QUADRATURE, BY COMPANY TETRAHEDRON
Friday 13 February, pm 17.30, Compagnia Tetrahedron, founded by Francesco Cerra in 2005, presents, in the spaces of the Appia Antica Park, the spectacle of music and dance Quadrature, in which actors, sprinkled with white, mimic the classical statuary with a game of gestures, random and involuntary.
UP@GIOTTO: A GAME COLLECTIVE IN PUBLIC SPACE
Sunday 15 February, pm 15.00 you can participate in the collective game up @ giotto, coordinated by Rossana Ciocca, designed by Alessandro Ceresoli and collective A12. The game is set up as a contest of "drawing dictation", in which participants, in turn, draw a card on which is reproduced a drawing that must describe the other players. These, in turn, drawing with chalks, directly on the pavement, what they are described: the player who manages to make the design more like that on paper
